Welcome to my website, I am very happy that you stopped by to learn more about Dyslexic Minds!  I am Sharon Johnson and I have been working in the Education Field for almost 17 years.  I have a Masters Degree in Education and Certifications in the following areas: Certifed Educational Diagnostician, Special Education EC-12, TESOL, ( Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and I am also a certified Dyslexia Specialist..  Within my 15 year journey I have taught, tutored , and provided intervention support in the areas of reading, writing, dyslexia intervention, and tutored English Language Learners.  I have also worked in school districts where I have been the Special Education Department Chair, and a district leader supporting campuses  by providing intervention resources to students, teachers, and Principals.    I described my experience as my journey because I am a firm believer that a person should never stop learning, that educating oneself should be a lifelong experience.  

When I am not learning, if there is every a time, I enjoy baking, traveling, journaling, eating(foodie), and spending time with my family and friends.   

Speaking of family, I have a wonderful husband and two children, my son Colin,  and my daughter Lauren and a dog, Wynston, whom all keep me very busy.
